  • Decrease fuel and petrochemical consumption.
  • Decrease excess transportation
    the food only travel a few hours MAX to get to you. Current produce buying and selling happens up to 100's or even 1000's of kilometres away from the source.
  • Promote biodiversity
    growing organic requires diverse seed varieties to be available and non-hybrid seed. It is also vital as an organic farmer to provide adequate pollution buffers, and native wildlife areas and to engage in Natural Resource Management.
